Job description
Advantage Professional is recruiting a high calibre Senior Financial Accountant for a blue chip organisation based in Central Maidenhead. This fantastic permanent role offers a generous remuneration/benefits package and excellent opportunity for further progression for the right candidate. Reporting to the Head of Finance, your main accountabilities will include: coordination of shared service processes including accounts payable and fixed assets; completion and management of general ledger, monthly and quarterly management reporting; management of group consolidation processes; responsible for annual consolidated statutory accounts; responsible for finance systems, process documentation and continuous process improvement initiatives; management of group tax compliance; provide effective support to the European Planning and Analysis Manager for ad hoc projects; drive improvement in the consolidation and reporting processes; ensure compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes. To be considered for this role, you may be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate with strong reporting, consolidations experience. Experience of SAP is desirable but not essential however, the role will require an excellent understanding of Excel.
