Job description
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join our client, one of the fastest growing online retailers in the UK. Key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst job will include: produce month end management accounts, analysis and commentary; support and drive the business in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts; work with the operational management teams to achieve profit targets; support business initiatives required for volume growth and cost improvements; evaluate the potential of new capital and revenue related projects and develop processes to monitor the performance of existing initiatives; manage & develop 1 staff member; demonstrate a strong commercial understanding of the business; provide financial analysis for decision-making on how to fund future assets. The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills: strong academic record; CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant, ideally with PQE; experience within retail, distribution, logistics or FMCG sectors; experience of all aspects of reporting, planning & analysis; strong systems skills - advanced Excel skills are essential; candidates must have excellent communication skills and be highly motivated, proactive and enjoy working in a team.
