Job description

This is an exceptional opportunity within a well known and high profile Logistics company. Based in Hertfordshire, it is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to help develop long-term business plans with the FP&A Manager and Head of Business. Main aspects of the role are to: provide senior management with the information to evaluate performance and opportunities within specific units; produce month end management accounts, analysis & commentary; support and drive the business in the preparation of the Annual Budget; to challenge current ways of working across the company; develop a team to provide high quality analytical support to the business; analyse and interpret results and trends to enable the business to make informed strategic decisions, provide ad hoc analysis and support to the business; solving problems and answering queries; challenge results and seek opportunities to increase income/reduce costs; produce analysis for decision-making on how to fund future assets; preparation of information for external reporting alongside the FC. The ideal candidate will have good academics, be a fully qualified Accountant and have experience within a medium sized or PLC environment. Please do not apply if you do not have the above.
