Job description
Our client is a large FMCG organisation with global reach who, due to continued growth, is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst. They are seeking a high calibre individual to deliver the analysis and appraisal of actual monthly business performance versus budget whilst identifying and following up on specific issues affecting both the UK business and wider EMEA regions. The role holder will also drive the business investment appraisal process, report capital expenditure and acquisitions, assist with integration, implement processes and construct the reporting structures of new acquisitions in conjunction with supporting senior management with various ad hoc projects across the Group. This is a highly visible and challenging role with a leading part to play where developing new metrics will be essential to highlight growth opportunities for the business along with detailed financial and commercial support. The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant, preferably an ACA, with a first class academic record of achievement. Essential is a commercial mindset, well developed planning & analysis skills, exposure to IFRS along with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to challenge and influence at a senior level. The ability to speak a second European language along with having used Cognos is highly desirable.
