Job description
Our client, a large Banking organisation, is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Auditor to join its team. This role will have particular focus on audits covering treasury, funding, liquidity, capital management and finance and will be based out of their Yorkshire office. The main responsibilities of this role are: to plan and perform audits of the group and report findings to the management; identify issues arising from audit work and draft appropriate risk aware recommendations; assist management in identifying and confirming risks and controls as part of risk based audit planning; understand and assess the key business risks. To this role will require an individual who has an in-depth knowledge of auditing techniques ideally within a banking or Financial Services environment. You will need to have a relevant professional qualification and have excellent organisational and communication skills. With the area of specialism being primarily treasury focussed an interest in this area and a willingness to study for ACT would also be highly favourable.
