Job description
Internal Audit/FTSE 100 Media company. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Chartered Accountant with a genuine interest in the Media industry. You will provide effective, leading-edge and value-added assurance and advisory through risk assessment, operational audit reviews, project assurance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and projects. You will be responsible for: the preparation of the annual, risk-based audit; planning, performance and report delivery of assignments; developing a close working relationship with senior management; regular reporting to senior management on key issues identified during the reviews; developing programmes to adequately address existing and emerging risks; and drive the department as a real alternative to third party services. To be successful in the role, you will ideally possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; a sound understanding of controls and risks and its application to the business; good influencing and negotiating skills; and the ability to engage in the detail of the operating business processes.
