Job description
Financial Controllers provide financial competencies to a Unit or Business Stream. They are seen as subject matter experts in finance topics or systems and will have a detailed understanding of specific complex financial subjects such as balance sheet, income, costs and provisions. The expertise of the Financial Controller will be called upon where understanding of financial disciplines is needed, eg financial accounts or business performance. They will also deal with ad hoc services, complex. You will be a qualified Accountant, likely ACA or ACCA with a strong background in financial control. In addition to being eager to progress your career and self-motivating, you will be driven, degree educated with an ability to interact and add value to non-finance. Our client is an established and rapidly expanding FTSE 100 with a household brand. Salary on offer is up to 55,000 plus excellent benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
