Job description
My client, a leading international company based in Maidenhead requires a talented Senior General Ledger Accountant, ideally with EMEA experience and excellent Excel skills. Candidates must be advanced on study, ideally Finalist or qualified. Experience with using Oracle will be a strong advantage. Ability to speak fluently in a European language will be favourable. Responsibilities will include: preparation of journal entries for cash on a monthly basis; monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts; closing the accounts within the Company's tight reporting deadlines; maintenance of the banking database for relevant companies; single point of contact for local VAT advisors; tax return preparation; variance analysis; participation in the maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across EMEA.
