Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Group Internal Auditor with one of Oxfordshire’s most successful businesses. A market leader in its field with offices worldwide they are proud of their reputation for excellence and this role will be central to its operations. The role will be responsible for financial and operational risk-based internal audits assessing business risks throughout the organisation’s global activities. This will include reviewing and evaluating financial records, business risks, working capital processes and controls as well as complying with business policies, performing audits and financial reviews, assisting in audit strategies and working on other ad hoc projects as required. The ideal person will be a qualified Accountant or Internal Auditor with broad financial/operational audit experience or with internal audit experience gained in a commercial environment or larger accounting practice. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral; happy to deal with people at all levels worldwide. The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with attention to detail is also required. This role requires a degree of travel and the applicant must be happy to travel anywhere in the world sometimes at short notice.
