Job description
My client is a market leader in its specialist niche sector and currently turnover in excess of £500m per year. The audit plan for 2010 is progressive and as a result we are strengthening the team with the appointment of a Senior Internal Audit Manager. The successful applicant will: experience of managing a team of 8 Internal Auditors. Commercial experience within a fast-paced and dynamic organisation; understand and be able to balance between managing risk and taking risks in the context of the overall strategy of the organisation; be a respected expert in business risk management and control issues; evaluates and improves overall audit operations. You will be a dynamic communicator who is keen to get the best from their team. You will see this as an opportunity to add value to the organisation as a whole. You will be a strong all-rounder with operational and financial audit experience. You will have: good A level and O level/GSCEs; A degree – 2(i) or above; ACA/ACCA/CIMA/IIA/CIA qualification.
