Job description
Key responsibilities: assessing the potential risk areas - systems and internal controls; producing risk-based audit plan for approval by the appropriate Business Unit Senior Management team and the Group Audit Committee; delivering the approved audit plan; making appropriate recommendations to senior management & the Board of Directors; discussing and agreeing appropriate actions with management; assessing whether agreed actions have been carried out; reporting to senior management on the results of activities; investigating fraud or potential fraud activity; encouraging and assisting senior management in establishing and maintaining an appropriate systems and controls framework; fostering a good relationship with clients. Person specification: experience within an audit role; ideally having experience within a fresh produce company; willing to travel internationally; immediately available candidate (maximum of 2 weeks’ notice).
