Job description
Due to a recent upturn in the market place, one of the leading Retail Banks in the UK is seeking a Senior MI Analyst to join its progressive Finance team. As the Senior MI Analyst you will be responsible for the following areas: responsible for producing both summary and detailed monthly management information with regards to Group IT reporting; responsible for the development, coordination and maintenance of plans, budgets, and forecasts; monthly commentary updates with regards to division and key items of focus; production of ad hoc analyses to support the MI requirements of Group IT; driving continuous improvement of current monthly reporting - database rebuild and automation of reporting; goal cut 2 - 3 days out of reporting cycle and allow better drill down facilities to analyse reporting further; developing and maintaining effective relationships with key customers and data suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and hardworking Analyst. You will be qualified or an exceptional part-qualified candidate with a proven track record of improving and strong hands-on reporting. You will have strong systems experience, including a strong understanding of SQL. Excel to macro level is also a must. You will be a proactive individual who is passionate about what you want to achieve and will be someone who thrives in an environment of change. This role is offered on a 6-month basis.
