Job description
NRG is pleased to be recruiting for our client, based in Gosforth for a Senior Management Accountant. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified or qualified by experience. It is essential that candidates have experience of managing staff. Responsibilities will include: management of a team of 2; responsibility for production of weekly KPI reports, operational reports and monthly management accounts and ensuring appropriate processes are in place to meet all deadlines; responsibility for reviewing all reports prepared by the team to present information to Finance Manager regarding anomalies, explanations of variances to budget etc; continued improvement of processes and procedures; ensuring all processing within the team is completed efficiently eg checking of invoices, completion of statutory returns; developing existing and creating new financial reports and KPIs to assist management; involvement with other Business Managers. Ideal candidates will have experience of staff management, will be keen to progress through the business and have a tenacious and hardworking attitude. Package is up to £28k.
