Job description
This FTSE listed Business to Business Publishing organisation is looking for a strong Management Accountant. The candidate will be involved in the following responsibilities: technical ability able to prepare several sets of management accounts by the deadline with some guidance from the SMA, BA or FM able to take these accounts through review with the BGM/Director and make all appropriate changes ability to prepare intercompany, bank and control account reconciliations with guidance from the SMA or BA; able to maintain weekly sales reports with little or no guidance help in preparing statutory accounts Central Marketing global cash reports ROIs and earning trackers; cash analysis reports able to write a commentary to a good level that requires little correction or amendment. Person key skills, qualifications & experience: skills possess intermediate/advanced Excel, Vision, SUN and Business Objects finance (Magnitude) skills able to understand double entry book keeping should be eager to take on additional work when available and where time permits should take full responsibility for own work; able to complete work to tight deadlines able to complete basic internal audits able to manage own time and keep superiors informed of progress against deadlines set. This person must be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or above and have the ability to prepare a full set of management accounts.
