Our new Customer Service Centre in Newcastle will pool knowledge and expertise across the Group, whilst increasing standardisation, realising efficiency savings and generating substantial revenues through delivering shared services to external customers. You will be part of it from the very beginning.
The Role:
In this key position, you will rapidly and accurately process some complex financial transactions and documents – writing and maintaining standard reports, implementing changes in processes, consolidating management results and liaising with Operating Companies and Group Finance. At the same time, you will carefully reconcile financial reporting to management reporting, whilst assisting Operating Companies in reviewing local activity – so you may expect total involvement in all aspects of our management accounting.
What We’re Looking For:
To join us, you should be a Finalist in a professional accounting qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA) and a seasoned finance specialist with extensive experience of management accounting. Leading small teams within shared service operating environments should be second nature to you, and you will be fully capable of balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. At the same time, you will be skilled in driving forward positive change, well versed in evolving Financial Reporting Standards and knowledgeable regarding management accounting and compliance systems, legislation and best practice.
