Job description
Our client an Investment company is looking for a qualified ACA with accounting experience in a similar industry & fluent German language skills to join their dynamic Finance team based in Cyprus. This is role working with the FD on all aspects of the financial accounting, financial reporting, tax & local compliance functions for one of the international offices. The role involves travel to international sites including Austria & the UK. You will have extensive project management experience & the ability to implement & develop strategic plans, processes & system improvements. You should be an excellent communicator as this role works closely with Auditors, Advisors, Bankers, Lawyers, Analysts, Accountants & Government Authorities. You’ll be trustworthy, reliable & discreet with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This role would suit an intelligent, analytical problem solver with a desire to progress in an ethical organisation with a supportive culture. You’ll be tasked with handling confidential affairs relating to projects, investments, property & other assets & so this key position requires a professional & discreet character. You should be ACA qualified with experience in an accounting role. You’ll be fluent in English & German & knowledge of either French or Greek would be advantageous. It is essential that applicants have used Sage or Microsoft Dynamics as well as being highly skilled in Windows Office & Microsoft Office applications.
