Job description
Due to current changes within the Housing Association sector out client is looking to appoint a Senior Project Accountant, with either previous HA experience or external audit. Reporting to the Assistant FD the role will include: responsibility for treasury management services, including developing treasury strategy, policies and procedures; prepare and manage cash flow statements; preparation of final accounts and assist with internal and external audit; involvement with long-term financial planning and cash flow management, including fixed assets and VAT; oversee and manage rent accounting function, using Northgate Housing Management System and Agresso; day-to-day contact with board members, non-finance. This is a varied and interesting role within a challenging and commercial environment. The role will be offered in a 12-month contract with a competitive benefits package.
