Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Accountant with technical experience within the life insurance industry for a major financial services organisation based in Dorking, Surrey. You will be a qualified accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA and possess working knowledge of the Integrated Prudential Sourcebook and UK GAAP/IFRS. You will act as the technical lead on major regulatory and business led projects - acquisitions and Solvency II. Act as the representative on technical issues committee, reviewing new legislation and presentation of recommendations to senior finance and audit management. Evaluate output from legislative bodies and standard setters, such as FSA, IASB, ASB. Reviewing of technical and audit committee papers.
