Job description
Based in the Fens our Manufacturing client has a current requirement for a Site Accountant. As No2 for this large Manufacturing site you will take responsibility for the accuracy and punctuality of the site numbers. The remit is as much about profit improvement/operational performance enhancement as financial reporting. Key duties include weekly and monthly accounts, costing, budgeting and forecasting, KPIs and working with a range of operational teams on projects such as new product development initiatives. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience gained in a factory/manufacturing environment and have strong systems skills. This offers an excellent opportunity for applicants looking to move into a no 1 site role, within a multi country operation. Ideally you will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified although part-qualified applicants with strong practical experience will be considered.
