Job description

Blue chip Service Sector organisation based in West Yorkshire is currently looking to appoint a Statutory Accounting Manager. Reporting to the FD you will be responsible for the Financial Accounting and have full responsibility for the Statutory Reporting Requirements of the group and its subsidiary companies. You will act a key point of contact within the group on all technical accounting queries and be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with both the Internal and External Audit teams. You will lead a team of high calibre team of finance staff and be responsible for their management, training and development. The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA with experience gained within a Top 20 Accounting Firm. You should have extensive UK GAAP knowledge with a basic understanding of US GAAP. You will have a thorough understanding of the audit process and have the ability to liaise closely with Auditors and Tax Advisors. You will have first class communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to build relationships at all levels within the business.
