Job description
An Accounts Assistant is required to assist with the profit and loss accounting for a busy Retail business. Your daily duties will involve creating reports on the store's takings, investigating any discrepancies and assisting the Accountants with any reconciliations and variance reports. You will also be required to manage the accruals. This Accounts Assistant will need to have experience of reconciling high volumes of data as well as maintaining profit and loss accounts. You will need to have a solid understanding of accruals and have great attention to detail. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual who has strong IT skills and a desire to succeed in their career. My client is a well-established business with a strong market presence. Their offices are professional and open plan with on site parking and easy access to local bus routes. The business has a stable management team who are supportive of their staff and encourage career growth. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
