Job description
An excellent opportunity is available for a well-known company based in the Gloucestershire area to work within the Strategic Modelling and Business Planning team. Key purpose of the role is as follows: maintenance and development of the Excel based strategic planning model covering the medium term plan - the model covers both heritages at brand level and is a key tool in understanding the current market volatility and subsequent impact; running sensitivities/scenarios of the medium term plan to assess options mitigating actions; maintaining and developing the modelling and month end process around the complex liquidity transfer pricing process, one of the key areas of focus in the business presently; evaluation of business cases/strategic options to understand the impact both on the business unit; supporting key projects from a finance perspective to support the business in making the right decisions; developing knowledge/understanding of key competitors in the market and their likely reaction to moves made by the company; to ensure that agreed standards of risk effectiveness are adhered to and ensure compliance with Group standards and regulatory requirements. Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ACA) or with equivalent experience and have worked within a similar position. The ideal individual will have strong communication and analytical skills coupled with strong financial modelling experience. Ambridge Harris is committed to equal opportunity and diversity.
