Job description

Hudson is currently working with one of the world's largest PLCs who are looking to hire a Strategy Planning Manager to work in their world-class Finance team based in Leeds. The role will report to the Head of Strategic Planning and will give insight into one of the UK’s largest brands. Core responsibilities of the role will include: creating a 5 years business plan; communicating the UK arms financial results to an external global audience; keeping ahead of external factors and competition and keeping in line with competitor and market trends; providing insight and analysis to assist with critical business decision-making; financial decision-making on both a daily basis and looking at long-term strategy; influencing Senior Managers and stakeholders; rotating through commercial technical and people management roles. The successful candidate will need to have an ACA qualification, ideally with a Corporate Finance or Transactional Service background. Commercially experienced CIMA and ACCA applicant are also strongly urged to apply. You will need to have a strong academic background and a proven track of success in either a strategy or analytical role. The role requires exemplary communication skills and the confidence to make arguments to senior members of staff.
