Job description

High profile business partnering Supply Chain Financial Analyst role with a major FTSE listed FMCG business. We are looking for a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong academics and commercial finance experience gained in a large/fast-paced blue chip business (ideally Retail or FMCG). As a true Business Partner you will drive effective ways of working between Supply Chain Finance and Procurement, Marketing and other commercial teams. Challenging the status quo, ways of working, pricing on prime raw material costs and recommendations on where product value optimisation (PVO) effort should be focussed. This role primarily exists to support value creation by ensuring the effective analysis, forecasting and control of all Prime cost in GB (circa £450 million FY12). The role also exists to work as a flexible analysis and insight resource within the broader Supply Chain Finance team as required. Personality and strong communication skills are key, we need someone who is used to dealing with commercial teams, influencing at all levels and presenting to senior stakeholders. It’s essential you bring strong Excel and finance systems skills, you will be expected to drive and champion process improvement, including influencing Procurement and Finance personnel to make the necessary changes to deliver product value optimisation (PVO).
