Job description
A leading global General Insurance business that has been in operation for over 120 years is entering the Lloyds market and is now seeking a Syndicate Financial Controller. The infrastructure for this syndicate is already in place and a Controller is needed to lead the day-to-day finance function for the syndicate. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Syndicate Finance Director and have a finance staff member supporting them. The vision for the Syndicate Controller is that their role will develop further in responsibility as the syndicate grows. In order to be considered for this role you must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, have worked at management level within a Lloyd’s Finance department and be familiar with the Lloyd’s business structure and planning cycle. Experience of designing and implementing financial systems and processes is also highly desirable along with syndicate insurance accounting, UK and US GAAP and performance monitoring.
