Job description
As Systems Accountant, you will interact on a daily basis with both the Finance and IT departments as well as other key personnel who require access to the financial systems and you will provide specific support to the Finance team and the wider business to provide accurate and efficient systems. You will take a primary role in ensuring that the company develops its accounting systems and procedures in order to meet future information and reporting requirements and will support both the Finance and IT departments in the review, specification and implementation of new accounting systems and systems improvements as required throughout the business, thereby maintaining an effective link between the two critical areas of the business. You will ensure that the systems run smoothly, efficiently, and accurately, and in order to do so, you will understand the details behind the tables and running of the JD Edwards system. As the systems super-user for the Finance department, you must have an excellent knowledge of financial systems and their operation.
