Job description
Due to ongoing stability and expansion throughout 2009, our client, one of the UK’s most well regarded and renowned Retailers, is currently seeking a Systems Accountant. Key responsibilities: within this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial KPI reporting process; reconciliations; liaison with various areas of the business to answer all systems based queries. You will also be asked to carry out ad hoc systems analysis; auditing of a variety of data under SAP and advising on various areas of improvement from a systems perspective. There are excellent opportunities for progression and improvement within a fast-paced & live finance function, which is rapidly expanding but also already hugely well established. Key skills required: excellent IT skills (to macro level), including advanced Excel & SAP (including experience of FI/CO-PA modules); mainstream financial accounting experience but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role; strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team and alone; flexibility; a keen interest in working in the Retail sector.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
