Job description
North Kent based £200m group has created a new position for a Systems Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the FC, you will work closely with IT in the review, specification and implementation of new accounting systems and systems improvements throughout the group. This position's provides support to the Finance team in the provision of accurate and efficient systems to record the companies transactions, in accordance with internal procedures, recognised accounting practices and statutory requirements. Ensuring the company develops its accounting systems and procedures to meet future information and reporting requirements. You will create, design and implement reports as required, ensure control and user awareness of the reporting package, ensure the warehouse has ability to produce accurate stock reports with strong systems controls, undertake monthly stock reconciliations ensuring accurate accounting of provisions and reporting of variances. This position would ideally suit an Accountant that has developed a strong systems skill-set and wants to move more into a systems based role.
