Job description
A new opportunity has a risen for a System Accountant with strong project experience. You will be working within a new division of a global Financial Services organisation and be responsible for engaging with finance users, IT and finance developers to ensure that changes to financial systems are established successfully. As a key member of the Financial Systems division, you will build relationships with Directors throughout the business. You will be responsible for the management of strategic financial change projects. Expertise in quality, risk and process methodologies, ie Sigma/Lean/VSM in a financial environment are necessary. Also, knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and project management, ideally Prince, is key. Significant experience in finance and accounting, IT or data management projects change projects is also required. You will have experience of working within large complex organisations, ideally with a global remit.
