Job description
A fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading Retailer in its Operations Finance team, where you will use your strong IT skills (advanced Excel, SQL & Datawarehouse) to business partner the IT department and drive insight to deliver a balanced steering wheel and aid key business decisions. We are looking for a qualified Accountant with a varied skill-set, using your outstanding systems skills and analytical ability to manage a reporting team and drive improved controls, MI and processes. You will be responsible for 2 direct reports in UK and 5 offshore. Ensuring the Monday morning reporting process is efficient and accurate, providing insight on sales performance, looking at a number of variables including promotional impacts. Accountable for the full end to end store steering wheel process, ownership of store budget model (enabling seamless critical top down to bottom up budgeting!), and take the lead of a variety of projects. Gravitas and strong communication skills are essential in this pivotal role as you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholder across the business and finance community.
