Job description
Eden Scott's client is a globally renowned Oil Service company with a major focus on the North Sea plus multiple international locations. This role reports to the Global Finance Manager with a functional report to the Group Tax department. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both international taxation and will have dealt with tax compliance issues. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work within a commercial environment. The role will involve dealing with tax matters for the division globally, which currently operates in multiple jurisdictions: provide advice and input to tenders in relation to tax matters; ensuring that new branch registration is completed in a timely manner in new areas of operation; managing tax compliance for branches set up specifically for the division; setting up processes and procedures in relation to tax compliance in various jurisdictions; liaison with External Advisors regarding monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns; overall responsibility within the division for issues pertaining to: withholding tax, stamp tax and VAT.
