Job description
CY Resourcing is working in partnership with Haines Watts based in Worcester city centre to appoint a key member of the Tax team. As Worcester's only Top 20 firm Haines Watts pride themselves on its local presence whilst benefiting from a national approach to training, support and commitment to the firm’s development. Working directly with the Tax Partner you will assist with planning projects and take responsibility for compliance matters for a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate clients. Specific duties will include but not be limited to: preparing iXBRL corporation tax returns; reviewing corporation tax calculations prepared by accounts staff; responsibility for individual client’s tax compliance; capital tax gains calculations and efficiently communicating tax affairs with clients. You will be a CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant with a genuine passion for tax. A proactive approach and an eagerness to develop and progress further are keys to this pivotal role.
