Job description
Our client is a social Housing provider with properties across the Greater Manchester area. Their Finance team manages every aspect of the daily transactions, annual budgets, rent ledger and treasury required to run the organisation. Their current requirement is for an immediately available trouble shooting Accountant to assist the Finance Manager across a number of project areas. Responsibilities will be ad hoc but will include: a review of VAT and implications; a review of the group accounting structure; future implications of pensions legislation; balance sheet investigations and reconciliations. Candidates should be self-starters, keen to take on challenges and run with them, possess an investigative nature and be technically strong.
