Job description

Do you love technical advisory work but hate the timesheets? Enjoy client facing but dislike the bureaucracy? A brand new role has arisen within a professional body that ticks all those boxes. Due to an expanding service offering, this Advisory team is looking for someone with a Practice background within a small to medium sized firm. You will provide technical support in the areas of taxation, auditing, financial reporting and company law. There is also the opportunity to lecture on technical developments, research and write factsheets/articles and contribute to the development of practice manuals and products. Ideally you will have a practical knowledge of all technical areas, but will have a focus on direct taxation. Client-facing skills are key as you will be dealing with stakeholders at all levels and will need to tailor your advice accordingly. There is a very supportive team ethic and plenty of ongoing training and development. Flexible working options are standard to support your work life balance. Requirements: proven technical ability with a practical knowledge of direct taxation; excellent communication skills with high levels of gravitas; outstanding attention to detail; ACA or ACCA qualified.
