Job description
A leading local firm of Chartered Accountants in Barnsley is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to cover a maternity leave for a period of around 9 months. This is a modern firm who offer a relaxed and friendly office environment, includes flexible working with duties including, accounts preparation, tax returns, personal tax, VAT for a varied portfolio of sole traders and limited companies under £5m turnover. You must have some previous experience of working for an accountancy firm to be considered for this post, ideally of producing full sets of accounts for limited companies or partnerships. Experience of IRIS or Sage Accounts Production will be an advantage as well but is not essential. Sewell Moorhouse acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
