Job description
My client is a top business in Nottingham looking to recruit a strong Financial Analyst to join their team for a period of 6 months. This is a fantastic role for a part-qualified Accountant to join a leading business in a role which could go permanent. The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA part-qualified with strong month end, budgeting and forecasting experience. The role and your responsibilities: supporting the production of the monthly management accounts working in a team of 6; taking a lead role in the budgeting and forecasting process; manage all balance sheet reconciliations; production of variance analysis reports highlighting and advising on any discrepancies; ensure financial processes and procedures are risk frees; development and improvement of existing reports and processes within the business. Experience sought in the successful candidate: essential: it is essential you have excellent communication skills, a strong academic background is also required, ideally you will be degree educated, however my client will consider applicants with strong A level results too; you will also use Excel to a minimum of pivot tables and vlookups level.
