Job description
Selection Group is proud to be representing a large multibillion-pound PLC that operates within the Utilities sector. With a large accounts team, my client offers extensive opportunities for a Treasury Accountant to progress within the company, with a mindset to develop this individual into the wider accountancy network. The role consists of a mixture of core accounts and treasury affiliated work, with responsibilities in: the preparation of monthly cash flow forecasting for the business; production of monthly funds flow statements and working capital reports to group accounts; responsibility for other treasury reporting to various recipients including; preparation of treasury related financial reporting requirements to support month end process; responsibility for treasury inputs to budget process; reporting of foreign currency exposures on a weekly basis and provide support for Treasury Analyst; support for implementation of control/procedure enhancements; administration and control of all banking software, such as business internet banking, , BACS and trading portals. You: you will have previous core accounting exposure, preferably from practice looking to take your next step into industry. You will have solid audit experience with exposure of cash forecasting, preferably with some treasury exposure although this is not imperative. You will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or PQE and be looking to develop your career within a supportive, developing environment that offers plenty of accounts exposure.
