Job description
Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Control the Treasury Accountant’s responsibilities will include the following: taking full responsibility for the timely production of accurate monthly accounts of the Finance entity, and for the interface into the Group consolidation system; take full ownership for quarterly foreign currency hedge effectiveness calculations, and liaise with Treasury middle-office to ensure compliance with IAS39; review commodity hedge effectiveness calculations and book associated journals into the Group consolidation system; ensure all external quarterly disclosures are in accordance with IAS32; liaise with the Administrator of the Treasury system to recommend improvements to processes to improve efficiency and controls. All applicants to work, as a Treasury Accountant for this business must be either ACA or ACCA qualified and will have had experience of working within a complex large business.
