Job description

A world leading, multi-disciplined company based in west Yorkshire currently has an exciting vacancy for a strong Technical Accountant - someone who has qualified and is keen to look at a role that is not core finance or audit. This newly created role will start off within a Treasury role with a clear route to move into other areas of the wider finance and commercial team, something they will be actively encouraging. The Treasury role demands an intellectual individual with a strong methodical approach to work. Regular responsibilities will include planning, budgeting and cost analysis for the treasury operations and treasury accounting as well as regular reporting on Foreign Exchange and KPIs within the company. The successful candidate will have a unique position within the company's corporate centre as custodian of the internal control framework and will play a key part in developing policies and structures within the Treasury Accounting department. This role will suit a dynamic qualified ACA Accountant with the desire to succeed within a multinational, blue chip environment.
