Job description
TalkTalk Group was launched in 2003 and has grown rapidly to become one of the leading fixed line voice and broadband telecommunications businesses in the UK. The business demerged from Carphone warehouse in 2010 and is now a stand-alone business with a primary listing in the FTSE 250. Group finance in Shepherds Bush, London currently seeks a talented Treasury Manager. Diverse in nature with a number of high profile projects this role will take responsibility for a broad range of tasks including the execution of all daily treasury requirements, daily cash management, forecasting, foreign exchange and interest rate management and treasury reporting. In addition the role is responsible for ensuring compliance with funding obligations and maintaining adequate funding for the group as well as identifying opportunities to save costs within the treasury process and implement any associated projects. The role will suit an ambitious high achiever who has a talent for understanding technical accounting and has demonstrable experience within treasury operations. It is preferred that applicants have a relevant qualification (ACMT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or professional experience within treasury of a large organisation. Strong Excel skills as well as treasury systems knowledge is essential. This role is high profile and you will be required to adapt to changing priorities and meet critical deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record in building effective business relationships, internally and externally are also critical for this role.
