Job description
Key responsibilities: accountable and responsible for complete, accurate and timely reporting of multiple entities; annual audit and preparation of audit deliverables under local GAAP; annual preparation of tax deliverables and liaison with external tax Accountants; responsible for understanding all the risks and controls of the entity; preparation and interpretation of monthly reporting packs; contribute to strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including External Auditors; reconciliation of ledgers. Main duties and responsibilities: production and interpretation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts; assist Unit Managers in the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; maintenance of an effective control environment over the various company’s Accounting function including control of the accuracy and integrity of the general and subsidiary ledgers; on time submission of sales and employment tax returns and responses to enquiries from tax officials; responsibility for rolling cash forecast & weekly cash update; ad hoc reporting as required; participate in the operational running of the business by: attending and contributing to business review in local management meetings; provision of ongoing financial advice and support to Unit Managers; ensure compliance with the company’s processes and accounting guidelines; play an active role in improving processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity; reporting to the FD.
