Job description
Toner Graham is currently recruiting an Underwriting Analyst to join a FTSE 250 business based in North Birmingham. The successful candidate will be required to: manage underwriting performance for existing schemes working with internal partners to identify opportunities to enhance performance; price new business and renewals, develop terms and conditions and gain agreement with our underwriting partners; overseeing the production of all underwriting issues, within your remit, to ensure regulatory objectives are met; in line with our policy, ensure the principle of treating customers fairly is an intrinsic part of the organisation’s culture by identifying, monitoring and managing any risks within the business. To apply for this role, you should have: experienced with Excel; good analytical & numerical skills; commercial experience within finance, underwriting or similar role; understanding of HGB or HCM systems and data; experience in a policy/warranty type of business.
