Job description
Venn Group has been approached by one of its largest public sector clients in Merseyside to recruit a Value for Money Accountant to join its professional team on an interim basis. As a valued member of the team, you will be reporting to the Assistant FD. The successful applicant will have detailed experience of driving Value for Money projects. You will be responsible for developing an evidence log, which will involve revisiting service level agreements and identifying and evidencing value for money from previous services. The key aspects of the role will be creating efficiency plans, matching high cost areas to performance, engaging with senior Heads of Service to ensure customer involvement and developing the Value for Money project even further. Housing association and value for money project experience is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will hold a CCAB qualification and have value for money key line of enquiry (KLOE) experience. The successful applicant will have excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
