KPMG: Indian tax expert joins London office KPMG has announced that a tax partner from its Indian practise is joining its London office.

Amarjeet Singh is set to join the Big 4 firm's New and Emerging Markets team, to both assist European investors with the tax regime in India and Indian corporations with investment opportunities across Europe.

Mr Singh has over 16 year's experience in the Indian tax and regulatory sector and KPMG has confirmed he is the most senior assignee to join its European firms from its Indian arm.

Sue Bonney, head of tax for KPMG Europe, said she was "delighted" to welcome Mr Singh and his appointment was a sign of the firm's "commitment to the Anglo-Indian market".

"There is massive demand from European clients for quality advice on the tax and regulatory environment around investing in India and vice versa for Indian corporations looking at Europe and we look forward to benefiting from Amarjeet’s knowledge and expertise," she added.

BDO Stoy Hayward has expanded its risk benefit team with the appointment of Mathew Norton, who has joined the firm from KPMG.
