The TUI Travel Activity Sector Student Travel and Adventure Group (STAG) has announced that it has appointed a new finance director.
Paul Hawkes has taken on the role following three years with the TUI Travel PLC Group corporate finance team and a stint with KPMG corporate finance, reports Director of Finance Online.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Hawkes told the news provider he was "delighted", adding: "This role will provide an opportunity to further my involvement with previously acquired companies whilst helping to provide an environment for other entrepreneurs to join the group and realise the full potential of their businesses."
This new appointment will allow Karen Watson to take up her new role as commercial director for the Gap & Experiential businesses.
In related news, ITV has recently appointed Ian Griffiths, formerly of Emap, to the position of finance director.
He replaces John Cresswell, who retains his role of chief operating officer.
