PwC launches new pensions capital management service Big 4 accountancy services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has announced the launch of its pensions capital management service, which is to be led by pensions partner Chris Massey.

A number of existing PwC staff members will be incorporated into one team to assist clients with financial, risk management and capital solutions.

Mr Massey said: "Companies and trustees recognise that looking at a pension scheme in isolation is not helpful and are increasingly seeking help from advisors with the expertise to view their pensions challenges within the overall context of the sponsoring organisation."

In other news, PwC has been highly commended at the Women of the Future awards.

The firm was the only Big 4 firm to be shortlisted in the category, and partner at PwC Strategy Olivia Gillan was shortlisted as a professional services Woman of the Future after being recently recognised as one of the UK's top 35 women under 35.

Founded three years ago, the Women of the Future awards celebrate high-achieving women and encourage mentoring and careers advice.
