Danbro accountants feel 'confident of more success' Following a year of expansion, accounting firm Danbro has said it is hoping for more success next year.

The company was shortlisted for Employer of the Year, Best Small Firm and Best use of Internet: Practice at the Accountancy Age Awards last month.

It was also revealed that for the third year running Danbro featured in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 directory of the 100 fastest-growing firms in the UK.

The company, which has seen sales of £51.1 million and 92 per cent growth, ranked in 40th place in the listing.

"Despite the recession, 2009 has been a great year for Danbro and we feel confident of more success in 2010," co-founder and director Damian Broughton said.

This year Danbro has added to its bases in Blackpool and London by opening a new office in Manchester. It has also recruited 11 new members of staff.
