PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been ranked as one of 2010's top ten Business Superbrands
Placed tenth overall, it is the highest ranking professional services firm in the top 500 business brands list, which was compiled by the Centre for Brand Analysis on behalf of the Superbrands organisation.
Commenting on the result, Ian Powell, chairman and senior partner at PwC, said it is a "fantastic" achievement.
"In a year when business and finance has faced the most turbulent conditions for a decade, the seven place jump reflects the strength and breadth of our expertise, and the commitment and hard work of our people," he added.
Microsoft took pole position on this year's list, toppling search engine giant Google which came fifth overall.
The Rolls-Royce Group, Blackberry and Virgin Atlantic completed the top ten.
The other Big Four accountancy firms also featured in the top 500, with Ernst and Young ranking 21st, Deloitte coming in 26th and KMPG ranking 45th.
