PwC to boost Scottish recruitment Big Four accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has announced plans to boost its recruitment drive in Scotland.

The firm is looking for a number of experienced and talented individuals to fill key accountancy jobs in a variety of the firm's operations.

Mark Hoskyns-Abrahall, graduate recruitment partner at PwC in Scotland, said: "We have around 25 vacancies for more experienced hires in Scotland at the moment, which I think has picked up from what it was perhaps three or four months ago.

"Financial services is definitely one area where there is pretty strong demand, with our assurance practice looking for a number of qualified and newly qualified people."

He added that both the advisory and transactional side of PwC's business is beginning to pick up and the firm is also seeing an increase in demand for regulatory services.

Yesterday (Thursday February 25th), PwC was named as one of the UK's top brands, alongside Ernst and Young, Deloitte and KPMG.
