Racing to the top of the business app download chart, the
free iPhone app from
JobSearch has been downloaded over 10,000 times within the first month of its release.
Launched by niche jobsite specialists
Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment (TMDR) and built by digital services agency TAMBA, the app assembles job opportunities from TMDR’s extensive network of jobsites.
It offers users the ability to search and apply for jobs directly from their iPhone, or email job details to a separate email account so that they can apply from home. They can also compare their earnings with a Salary Survey and find jobs that match their expectations.
The ability to search and apply for jobs away from a PC means that jobseekers will never have to miss out on the latest opportunities.
Dave Thomson, Product Manager at Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment said: “Our aim from day one was to deliver a comprehensive job search and salary comparison app to our candidates. By harnessing mobile technologies, we have given our candidates the capability to apply for jobs away from their PCs, meaning that they never have to miss out on the latest opportunities.”
Jobsearch is part of the TMDR network and generates applications from a wide variety of industries including IT, administration, sales, accountancy and engineering.
